Trueman Brewing Taproom (楚门酒吧)

Founded in Tianjin in 2016, Trueman (楚门津酿) has won 32 medals, including 10 golds, across five domestic competitions, and debuted at the European Beer Star awards in 2020. The flagship range of hazy IPAs, sours and experimental beers is all here, and the hazies are regarded as among the finest brewed in China.

Trueman reaches nearly 100 bars nationally, but high turnover at the taproom means the freshest pours. Tiyudong Road (体育东路) is the nucleus of Guangzhou's craft scene, so make it a stop on a Tianhe beer crawl.
