Byg Brewski Brewing Company – Hennur

Byg Brewski Brewing Company is a Bangalore brewpub group with three outlets, at Hennur, Sarjapur Road and Yeshwantpur. The name nods to Byggvir, the Norse god of beer and mead, and the brand runs with a Viking theme. The Hennur site is at Byrathi village on the Hennur–Bagalur Main Road in the north-east of the city, and Byg Brewski markets its outlets as much on their architecture and views as on the beer.

Beer is brewed on the premises, and each outlet keeps its own list. At Hennur the brewery's line-up has included a Belgian-style wit with coriander and citrus, a New England IPA, a nitro stout with coffee and chocolate notes, a hefeweizen, a smoked lager with campfire character, and a Munich helles hopped with Hallertau. The other outlets add beers such as a Belgian tripel, a Czech pale lager and a spiced apple mead.

Byg Brewski works as a restaurant and events venue as much as a beer bar. It hosts live music, with past concerts by acts including Michael Learns to Rock and the Vengaboys, and takes corporate parties and large group bookings. By early 2025 the group said it had served more than 4.6 million customers across its outlets. Food is also available for delivery through Swiggy and Zomato.
