The Biere Club

The Biere Club is Bangalore's (and South India's) first microbrewery, established on Vittal Mallya Road in the city's CBD. The bar sits on the second floor of a corner building at the junction of Lavelle Road and Vittal Mallya Road, with views over UB City and surrounding streets that make it one of the best spots in central Bangalore for people-watching over a pint. The brewery takes a traditional approach: a compact line-up of freshly brewed lagers, wheat beers, stouts, ales, and seasonal specials — all brewed on site. The wheat beer is a regular standout. The British-pub-meets-retro-Bangalore interior — wood panelling, comfortable chairs, a pool table — contributes to a laid-back atmosphere that feels like a neighbourhood local despite its central location. The kitchen covers continental dishes, pizzas, mezze platters, and grilled meats. The Biere Club runs a 1-for-1 promotion on beers and cocktails every Monday and Tuesday.
