Pigstone Taphouse sits in Kedungu on Bali's quieter west coast, a stone's throw from Pigstone Beach, Kedungu Beach, and Yeh Gangga Beach — and the name pays direct homage to the iconic pig-shaped stone formation at the shore. The venue was founded by Andrea Torelli, a former MasterChef Italia contestant, and the food here is taken seriously: authentic Italian pizzas with proper thin crusts, handmade pasta, bar bites, and a brunch menu running from 10am. The craft beer selection focuses on European-style and local Indonesian brews served cold, alongside a full cocktail menu. The setting is a generous open-air beer garden surrounded by rice fields, with the kind of long golden-hour light that makes every beer taste better. Beyond the food and drink, Pigstone is genuinely a destination: there's a skate bowl on-site, classic arcade and bar games, live music every Thursday with local bands, a Sunday Market, and a rotating roster of community events. It's a true neighbourhood hub for the Kedungu surf community — remote by Bali standards, but handsomely rewarded for the drive. Open daily from 10am until late, with free local delivery available.
