Beer Garden+

Beer Garden is one of Jakarta's most enduring nightlife institutions, having launched the city's casual craft beer culture when it opened in 2010. Beer Garden+ is its evolved flagship — a significantly expanded and redesigned venue that opened in 2023 at SCBD Park Lot 6B, part of the Biko Group's continued reinvention of the brand that originally put Indonesian beer gardens on the map.

The new space is deliberately large and refined. The main hall centres on a floor-to-ceiling "On Tap & Crafted Beer" chalkboard menu above a long bar, flanked by wall-to-wall sliding glass doors that open onto SCBD Park. Curved leather sofas, stone tile floors, and green-tiled columns give the interior a warm, mid-century modernist feel that's a world away from the open-air industrial origins of the original Radio Dalam outlet. A private room with its own bar is available for events. The outdoor terrace connects directly to the landscaped park grounds.

The beer programme runs to more than 40 brands. Tap options include Bintang, Heineken, Breman (Gelap and Terang), Black Sand Kölsch, JB Small Hazy, and Kura Island Ale, alongside a rotating tap of the month. The bottle and can fridge adds depth with Belgian classics (La Chouffe, Leffe, Hoegaarden), international craft imports, and local Indonesian labels. Prices run from around IDR 40,000–150,000 per serve. The food menu covers Western and Asian comfort food: pizza, burgers, sharing platters, and Indonesian favourites. Live music performs on evenings throughout the week.
