Brew and Barrel (Senayan City)

Brew and Barrel at Senayan City carries a history that long-time Jakarta beer drinkers will recognise: this is the former Brewerkz outlet in the mall's Crystal Lagoon area, rebranded but still pouring many of the same award-winning house beers that built its reputation as one of the city's go-to sports bars since the late 2000s. The dark-wood, leather-sofa sports bar interior remains largely unchanged, with multiple screens for live football, F1, rugby and NBA, and a live band playing rock and power-pop covers Thursday through Saturday evenings.

The tap list is the most interesting part of the transition. Alongside the Brewerkz beers that originally made the venue's name, Brew and Barrel now also pours a rotating selection of Indonesian craft beer, including Island Brewing and Breman — part of the broader shift in the Jakarta craft beer scene toward locally brewed options over straight imports. The kitchen serves American sports-bar comfort food: fish and chips, wood-fired pizza, truffle fries and pork satay are regular highlights, designed to be shared over a long session watching the game.

Brew and Barrel operates a second outlet at The Breeze, BSD City, under the same rebrand. The Senayan City location remains the more central option for visitors and office workers in the Asia Afrika / Gelora area, with easy access from Senayan City mall's lower ground Crystal Lagoon dining cluster.
