Chatan Harbor Brewery & Restaurant opened in February 2016 on the waterfront at Mihama in Chatan, about 20km north of Naha along Route 58. The complex combines a brewery, a restaurant and bar, a shop and a marine business running catamaran trips and sunset cruises.

Its own beer is sold as Chatan Beer, brewed around the idea of the natural character of Okinawa. The regular line-up covers a lager made for easy drinking with a tropical edge, a weizen with sweet, banana-like yeast aroma, a pale ale with caramel notes and a bright hop character, a hop-forward IPA and a stout that balances roast with a clean finish. Some beers use Okinawan ingredients. The bar counter looks through glass at the brewing tanks, and a tasting set of six beers is the easiest way to try the range.

The food is based on American grill cooking, with seafood, large cuts such as T-bone steak and dishes cooked with the beer. Beer-battered fish and chips, ale-marinated Okinawan pork steak and shrimp and mushroom ajillo have featured, and plates are designed for sharing.

It is a big venue, with around 270 seats, counter and sofa seating and an open terrace facing the harbour that is busiest at sunset. Smoking is allowed only on the terrace. Families are welcome, with high chairs provided, and recent reviews from 2026 show it remains a popular dinner spot. The restaurant and bar open daily from 5pm to 10pm, last orders 9.30pm, and reservations are taken online. By car it is roughly an hour from Naha Airport, with parking beside the restaurant.
