Craft Beer Base Mother Tree

Craft Beer Base Mother Tree is the flagship venue of the Craft Beer Base group, one of Osaka's most respected and award-winning craft breweries. Located near the Umeda Sky Building in Kita-ku, it combines a working brewery (visible through the glass walls of the taproom), a full-service beer restaurant, and what is arguably the finest bottle shop in western Japan — roughly 500 different canned and bottled craft beers, sourced from breweries across Japan and internationally. The tap list runs to 15 rotating lines, with around 10 devoted to CBB's own award-winning beers — ranging from their flagship Osaka pale ales and IPAs through to seasonal specialties and barrel-aged releases. Five guest taps rotate through respected Japanese and international breweries. The kitchen produces food specifically designed to pair with craft beer, making it a genuinely rewarding place to eat as well as drink.
