Craft Beer Market Kanda opened in April 2017 as the chain's Chiyoda-ku presence east of Jimbocho, occupying the ground floor of the MISU BLDS KANDA building on Kajimachi — a distinctive concrete-and-glass structure with an open-tread staircase that makes it one of the more architecturally interesting CBM locations.
The food concept here centres on lamb: lamb chops, lamb burgers, lamb keema curry, and a small selection of lamb-adjacent sides, reflecting the neighbourhood's mix of working-class Kanda traders and the tech workers and anime fans who spill over from nearby Akihabara. It's an unusual pairing that works — particularly with the chain's hoppier and more robust tap selections.
The tap list runs to 30 lines, following the standard daily-rotation format with Japanese domestic craft beer at the core and imports alongside. Prices follow the standard chain structure: glass from ¥690, pint from ¥880, plus a ¥300 table charge after 4pm. English menus are available, and the staff are noted for being accommodating to non-Japanese speakers. Free WiFi is available inside.
Kanda is one of the more accessible CBM outlets by transit — Kanda Station on JR lines is a few minutes' walk, and Akihabara Station is also within comfortable walking distance.
