Craft Beer Market's Otemachi branch sits on the ground floor of the Grand Cube building in Otemachi Financial City (1-9-2 Otemachi), about two minutes on foot from exit C2 of Otemachi Station. Widely regarded as one of the chain's best, it has one of central Tokyo's largest purpose-built beer terraces, spilling onto a landscaped plaza that fills with office workers each evening.

Like the other branches it runs a long board of Japanese craft beer, and the chain's own page notes a frequent rotation of limited-edition releases here. The international business crowd means a slightly broader range of US and European imports than at other branches. Glasses start at ¥690 and US pints at ¥880, so it's easy to try several.

The food theme is craft beer with Mexican: burritos, quesadillas, tacos and nachos, from vegetable-led plates to properly spicy ones, which suit a hoppy pale ale or IPA. There's also a weekday lunch service from 11.30am to 2pm.

Evening hours are 5pm to 11pm on weekdays and noon to 10.30pm on Saturdays; the branch is closed on Sundays and public holidays, which catches out weekend visitors. Booking is strongly recommended for Friday and Saturday evenings, and can be made online through Tabelog or by phone. Expect a ¥300 table charge. It suits after-work groups, visitors staying around Tokyo Station and anyone wanting an outdoor pint in the business district.
