Outdoor seating available Craft Beer Market Otemachi is widely regarded as one of the best in the chain, largely thanks to its outdoor terrace — one of the largest purpose-built beer terraces in central Tokyo. The bar occupies the ground floor of the Financial City Grand Cube tower in Otemachi, a landmark office complex just above Otemachi Station, and the terrace extends onto a semi-landscaped plaza that fills with office workers every evening from opening.
The food concept at Otemachi is Mexican — house burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and a salad bar. It's a departure from the typical izakaya fare at other CBM branches, and the combination of craft beer and Mexican food works well; the spice and acid in the dishes cut through hoppy and malty beers particularly effectively.
The tap list runs to 30 lines as standard, rotating daily and covering Japanese domestic craft beer across all major styles alongside US and European imports. The Otemachi location tends to have a slightly broader range of imported taps than some other branches, reflecting the international business crowd it serves. Prices follow the chain's flat structure: glass from ¥690, US pint from ¥880, plus ¥300 table charge.
For Tokyo's best combination of craft beer, outdoor dining, and central location, Otemachi is the CBM to visit. Seating is strongly recommended for weekend evenings.
