Craft Beer Market Tokyo Torch opened in October 2021 as part of the Tokyo Torch Terrace — the outdoor plaza element of the Tokiwabashi Tower development, a 212-metre skyscraper just north of Tokyo Station's Marunouchi exit in Otemachi. The bar is one of the best-positioned CBM outlets in Tokyo: five minutes on foot from one of Japan's busiest transit hubs, with a generous outdoor terrace that is among the most pleasant outdoor drinking spaces in the city.
The terrace seats around 40 people at dark rattan furniture under the tower's overhanging canopy, with the glass-fronted bar visible behind. Inside there's room for a further 35 at counter and table seats. The whole venue is non-smoking, and pets are permitted on the outdoor terrace — a rare amenity in central Tokyo.
The food concept here is gyoza and spice: house-made dumplings in various styles (lamb, wasabi, Sendai miso) alongside a short menu of chilli-forward dishes. Beer flights of three 150ml glasses for ¥1,100 are available in addition to the standard glass and pint pours. The all-you-can-drink plan starts at ¥2,000 for two hours on most taps.
Tokyo Torch also benefits from free WiFi from the building's own network and English menus on request — making it one of the most visitor-friendly CBM outlets.
