Kura's Krafts is a cosy, fuss-free craft beer bar tucked into Plaza Batai in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. Founded by a couple with a passion for the craft beer scenes of Perth and Australia, the bar takes its name from their Shiba Inu, Kura, who is often on site to greet regulars.
Six rotating taps and a well-stocked fridge bring together over 50 international craft beers spanning ales, pilsners, ciders, stouts and sours, with occasional rare imports found nowhere else in Malaysia. A small wine list and a handful of house cocktails round out the drinks menu.
The food side punches above its weight for a beer bar, with a hot dog menu (beef or chicken sausage) topped with everything from wagyu and grilled onions to jalapeΓ±o peach jam, alongside furikake fries and chicken tenders. The space is fully pet-friendly, with a non-alcoholic "dog beer" available for four-legged visitors, and offers both indoor and alfresco seating.
