Monster and Beer announces itself immediately: a vibrant wall of craft beer cans and bottles greets you at the door, stacked with labels from Belgium, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, and beyond — over 99 varieties in total. Some are weird, some are wonderful, and the staff are genuinely passionate and happy to guide you through.

The food is proper Japanese comfort — beef tataki, pork ramen, chicken karaage, pizza — making it easy to turn a few pints into a full evening. The vibe is casual and neighbourhood-friendly, located in a quiet corner of Taman Paramount that somehow feels like it's miles from the city. Closed on Mondays.
