Druggists occupies the ground floor of the Singapore Chinese Druggists Association shophouse, with original floor tiles, marble-topped tables, retro kopitiam chairs and a vintage Chinese signboard giving it a character that can't be manufactured. The taps rotate through breweries such as Mikkeller, De Molen, To Øl, Cantillon and Prairie Artisan Ales, a level of curation more often found in Brooklyn.

Staff are knowledgeable without being precious, so ask for a sample before committing. Pair a pint with the prawn paste wings.
