LeVeL33 occupies a singular place in Singapore's craft beer scene. Perched 149 metres above ground in the penthouse of Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 1, it holds the Guinness World Record as the world's highest urban microbrewery in a building — a title officially confirmed in December 2024 as the bar celebrated its 15th anniversary.

The brewery equipment — twelve tanks, copper brewhouse kettles, and a cooling system — was craned up through a partially dismantled section of the building's facade, a feat of engineering that captures the ambition behind the whole concept. Resident brewmaster Gabriel Garcia, certified in Germany and with LeVeL33 since 2012, brews all beers on-site using 100% certified organic malt and hops. The core range covers a blond lager, wheat beer, stout, porter, IPA, and Czech-style pilsner, with seasonal releases including the fan-favourite Festbier at Oktoberfest and the 15th-anniversary Hoppy 15 — brewed with 15 distinct hop varieties.

The venue is split between a sleek indoor dining room where the copper tanks are visible behind the bar, a social lounge, and the open terrace that wraps around the building's edge — offering unobstructed views across Marina Bay to the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, and Marina Bay Sands. The terrace is the real draw, especially at sunset or after dark.

Food follows a 'ContemBrewery' philosophy — brewing by-products woven throughout the menu. Brewer's spent grain appears in housemade pasta, breads, and desserts; the fish and chips are battered with Straits Pale Ale; the chocolate cake uses Cold Smoke Nitro Stout. Sustainable seafood and ethically pasture-raised beef are sourced where possible. A beer tasting paddle is the ideal entry point for first-timers. Happy hour runs daily from opening until 5pm. Advance reservations are strongly recommended for terrace seating, particularly on weekends.
