Little Island Brewing Co at South Beach is the downtown sibling of Singapore's beloved Changi Village microbrewery. Tucked into basement 1 of South Beach Avenue (beneath the JW Marriott), it began life as Alchemist Beer Lab before LIBC took over and rebranded it as an evolution of its craft DNA. The result is a sleek, muted palette of grey, coppery gold, and brown marble — designed by Akira Kita Architecture (behind Esquina and Luke's Oyster Bar) — with wood accents evoking a mediaeval tavern feel.
Twenty copper taps dispense LIBC's own locally-brewed ales alongside pre-batched beer cocktail concoctions — an evolution from Changi Village's more traditional tap setup. The food menu leans into international tapas: Slow Roasted Pork Belly, Wagyu Beef Quesadilla, Mexican Grilled Cheese Pan, Momotaro Tomatoes, and more. Hoppy Hour runs Monday to Friday, 3–6pm (selected craft beers at S$10++, excluding public holidays). Outdoor seating is available on the terrace overlooking the South Beach courtyard. Walking distance from both Esplanade MRT (Exit F) and City Hall MRT.
