Paulaner Bräuhaus brings Munich's beer-hall tradition to Marina Centre, brewing its own wheat beers, lagers and seasonal specials in an in-house microbrewery rather than shipping kegs in from Germany. The two-level space pairs those fresh brews with Bavarian classics — pork knuckle, sausages, pretzels and käsespätzle — best enjoyed at long communal tables the way they're meant to be.
The ground-floor bar runs later than the restaurant upstairs, staying open past midnight (and past 1am on weekends) for anyone after a stein rather than a full meal, while the Sunday brunch buffet has become a fixture for beer-and-pretzel regulars. It's a dependable pick for an authentic German beer-hall night out in the CBD/Marina Centre area.
