Opened in 2024 by a couple with strong ties to China's fast-growing craft scene, Upward pours brews from Wild West, Wumu, Little FaFa and Pink Blossoms beside local names such as BrewLander, plus the odd international guest. The mood is deliberately calm and minimalist, a 'supply station' for unwinding rather than a party spot.

Look for it inside the Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, a few steps from Chinatown and Telok Ayer. Come after work and pick at the skewers and bar snacks.
