Founder Ernest Ng spent nearly a decade perfecting his brewing before opening, and the kit sits behind full-height glass at the entrance. The crowd favourite is Monster Green Lager, naturally coloured with spirulina, alongside a Czech Pilsner, Kolsch, Weizen, Lime Wheat and seasonals. Indoor bar seating gives way to two levels of garden terraces, often with live music in the evenings.

First-timers should order a tasting paddle, and try the SG Dragon Lager, infused with dragon fruit. It's pet-friendly, so bring the dog, and it's a short hop from the Botanic Gardens.
