Brewerkz (Riverside Point)

Everything is brewed on site, up to 4,000 hectolitres a year. The IPA won a World Beer Cup medal for best English-style IPA and the Oatmeal Stout has been rated Singapore's top beer on RateBeer, with a dozen-plus seasonals including Oktoberfest lagers in September. Steel tanks sit behind glass in a dark-timber room.

Grab a riverside table for an evening pint as bumboats pass Clarke Quay's neon, and try the kombu truffle fries. It is the original of six Brewerkz outlets across the island.
