Yeast Side (King Albert Park)

Yeast Side is a small Singapore group built around slow-fermented dough, and its King Albert Park branch sits on the ground floor of KAP Mall at #01-09. Naturally leavened sourdough pizzas and bread come with a decent craft beer lineup, in a space that looks more like a design-forward café than a beer bar. The group sums itself up as sourdough pizza, focaccia and exclusive craft beer, without publishing a long tap list.

The menu covers sourdough pizzas, airy focaccia and sandwiches, and the branch is set up as an all-day neighbourhood spot: somewhere for a morning coffee, a quick lunch or an easy dinner, with delivery and pick-up as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome.

Opening hours on the group's site are 11am to 11pm from Wednesday to Friday and 9am to 11pm at weekends, with the branch closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so weekend brunch is the easiest time to combine a coffee with a first beer. Sister outlets run at Farrer Park and Serangoon Gardens, plus a fourth site at Riders' Lounge off Exeter Road in Somerset.
