Gorilla Brewing Co. – Gorilla Beach

Gorilla Beach is the beachfront taproom of Gorilla Brewing Company, the Busan craft brewery founded in 2016. It occupies space in the LCT development on Dalmaji-gil, at the Dalmaji end of Haeundae Beach, and guides describe a large taproom with views over the beach. Gorilla currently runs two venues in Busan: this one, and Gorilla Haeundae a short way inland, which the brewery pitches as the more laid-back of the pair.

Gorilla's story began with a small bar in Millak-dong, followed by a brewpub in Gwangalli that served as the flagship for several years; that Gwangalli site has since closed. Co-owner and CEO Paul Edwards, who earlier co-founded Galmegi Brewing, now brews at a production plant in Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang, and the beach taproom pours its output.

The range leans British in spirit with plenty of modern styles. Regulars on the brewery's Untappd page include Gorilla IPA, Newing hazy IPA, Busan Pale Ale, British Stout, Gorillager, Raspberry Wheat, Popsicle IPA, the Sun Shower sour IPA and the Pineapple Wave gose, with occasional big beers such as a soju-barrel-aged imperial stout. Tap counts vary by source: the Korea Times counted ten Gorilla beers on tap in late 2025, while a June 2026 guide puts it at around twenty. A fridge by the bar sells cans to take away.

Reviewers single out the pulled pork burger and pork ribs, and a weekly running club finishes here with a free pint. The brewery's own listing gives hours of noon to midnight from Monday to Friday and noon to 1am at weekends, so it works for a long afternoon on the beach as well as an evening session. It suits groups and visitors staying along Haeundae.
