Dalmac Super

Dalmac Super (Dalmaek Supermarket) is a compact bottle shop at 7 Noksapyeong-daero 54-gil on the Noksapyeong strip in Itaewon, sitting directly beside Magpie Brewing Co.'s original taproom, with White Rabbit Tap House next door to that. Its selection covers local and imported beers, with an entire fridge given over to Korean craft, which makes it a natural stop before or after a night at Magpie, or for stocking up to drink elsewhere.

It's a no-frills convenience-store format rather than a curated bottle-shop experience, and the appeal is the fridge selection and the location, not the ambience. That said, there is seating both inside and out, a wide range of snacks, and outside food is allowed, so it doubles as a cheap and casual place to drink when the taprooms are full.

Opening hours, as listed by Beer Asia, are 4.30pm to 1am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4.30pm to 2am on Fridays, 2.30pm to 2am on Saturdays and 3pm to 1am on Sundays; it is closed on Wednesdays. Magpie's Itaewon brewshop pours around 10 taps of its own and guest beers but keeps shorter hours and closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, so Dalmac is a useful fallback early in the week.
