Crafted – Beer & Co. has been the default answer to "where do I buy good beer in Taipei" since it opened in June 2016. It sits in Maji Square, the container-village food and drink park inside Taipei Expo Park, a couple of minutes from Yuanshan MRT.
The proposition is simple and unusually flexible: six rotating taps and a wall of more than 150 bottled and canned beers, and you can drink any of it on the spot or carry it out. The range spans Taiwanese breweries — including Redpoint, whose own taproom closed in 2024 — alongside imports, Belgian classics and a good run of fruit beers for drinkers who have not committed to hops yet.
There is no real kitchen, but that hardly matters: Maji Square is a food hall, so you eat around it and bring plates back to the tables outside. Take-away buyers get 15% off a mixed six-pack and 20% off a mixed twelve. Note that it is closed on Mondays, and that 23 Music Room is a few doors down the same complex if you want to make an evening of it.
