ON TAP

It's the city's most established expat drinking institution. The draught line-up is import-led, with Guinness, Abbot Ale and Stowford Press cider, but Taiwanese craft appears as guest pours, and it remains one of the reliable places to find Redpoint on tap since that brewery's own taproom closed. The kitchen does fish and chips, Guinness beef pie and chips and gravy properly.

It's a short walk from Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT. Multiple screens make it Taipei's default venue for Premier League and Six Nations kick-offs, and Wednesdays bring an all-night happy hour.
