Taihu Gyoza Bar (θΊθε± ι€ε±) is Taihu Brewing's stand-and-eat izakaya inside Rongjin Gorgeous Time Village (ζ¦ι¦ζε ηζ΄»εε), a cluster of restored Japanese colonial-era prison-officers' dormitories just off Jinhua Street in Da'an. The heritage timber building and paper lanterns set the tone before you're even through the noren curtain β a small, counter-driven room built for a fast beer and a plate of gyoza rather than a long sit-down session.
The format is η«ι£ β Fukuoka-style stand-and-eat β with a short bar-side counter facing the kitchen. Pan-fried gyoza are the reason to come: a tight, focused menu built to pair with Taihu's own beers rather than a sprawling food list. A handful of Taihu's core and seasonal releases pour alongside the food, in a room built for a quick, atmospheric stop rather than the full taproom experience of Taihu's larger venues.
It's a short walk from Dongmen MRT, in the same heritage quarter as several of Taipei's more characterful bars and cafes β worth combining with a wander through the rest of Rongjin Gorgeous Time Village.
