Taihu Tasting Room – Da'an

Founded in 2013, Taihu is Taiwan's most widely recognised craft brewery, leaning on local ingredients: a multi-medalled Peach Weisse, a lychee gose, tea-infused ales and rolling seasonals and collaborations. The room is deliberately spare, with a long wooden bar and minimal American-style fit-out, and staff will talk you through the board rather than steering you to the obvious IPA.

It's two minutes from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT down a lane with no sign; look for the queue or the glow. Downstairs, the Bodega cocktail bar opens at 8pm, three hours after the beer bar, and is closed on Sundays.
