Taihu Tasting Room – Xinyi

Known as 啜飲室 Landmark, it is the most unusual of Taihu Brewing's Taipei venues: a counter and wooden high tables set into the arcade, open to the street, between Breeze Xinyi and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A4. The 立飲 format, common in Japan but rare in Taipei, means ordering Taihu's own beer from a blackboard wall and drinking standing among the after-work crowd.

Taipei City Hall MRT Exit 3 is a minute away. Use it as a first stop before dinner elsewhere in Xinyi; food is limited to pizza and snacks, and non-beer drinkers get cocktails, wine and spirits.
