The 58 Bar

Draught plus more than a hundred varieties let it reach into the smaller, newer end of the Taiwanese scene, where most Taipei bars carry the same handful of established names. That makes it a useful complement to, rather than a duplicate of, the other Ximending beer bars.

It's on Kaifeng Street in Wanhua, about eight minutes from Ximen MRT. The kitchen does a British menu and American-style pizza, and a whisky and sake list covers anyone not drinking beer.
