Most bars in the city commit to beer or cocktails; Tipsy Dragon, on Nanjing East Road, does both without either feeling like an afterthought. Reviewers consistently single out the Taiwanese beer range as the reason to return, and the room is small and unpretentious.
It's the practical answer for a mixed group: a local IPA for one, a well-made cocktail for the other. Budget around NT$250 a head. Note: it's closed Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.
