Apron Bar Bangkok

Apron Bar is a pour-your-own craft beer bar near Khao San Road and a welcome alternative to the backpacker strip. Load credit onto a card, tap it at the self-serve wall and pay only for the millilitres you pour, which makes it easy to work through Thai IPAs, sours and fruit beers in small measures. Founder Champ Wanithanont built it around beer and film photography, so the bar also sells and develops film and doubles as a small gallery.

Tip: start with small tasters of the Underdog Micro Brewery beers before committing to a full glass, then browse the fridge of international cans behind the bar.
