Devanom Taproom

Devanom was founded in 2014 by brothers Ob and Art Ungsriwong, who also run Thailand's first hop farm. This taproom, which opened as MITR Brewery in 2020 before taking the Devanom name, is where to try the full range: Kamehameha IPA made with Thai-grown hops, hazy IPAs such as Overclock, sparkling lychee mead and sato, the traditional Thai rice drink reworked as a craft product. Guest beers, sake and wine fill out the list.

It's on Soi Tiwanon-Pak Kret 21, about a kilometre from the MRT Pink Line, so a taxi is easiest. The timber-clad hall opens onto a forecourt of picnic benches and food trucks, and the kitchen turns out pizza and Thai drinking snacks. Pair it with Chit Beer on Ko Kret nearby.
