Underdog Microbrewery (Theparak)

Underdog was the first licensed microbrewery in Samut Prakan, set up in 2017 by co-founders Oo and Ohk on the first floor of the Rinlada Building on Theparak Road. The fermentation tanks sit right behind the bar, and the beer is poured from a self-service tap wall: top up a card, then pour as much or as little of each beer as you like, which makes it easy to work through the range.

House favourites include the crisp Helles Lager and the Raspberry Berliner Weisse, alongside IPAs, hazies, West Coast pales, weizen, porter and the odd guest beer. The kitchen runs a proper smoke-and-grill menu (brisket, ribs, pork knuckle) plus Thai dishes, and there is live music on weekend nights. It is a short walk from Si Thepha station (Exit 3) on the MRT Yellow Line, so it is easy to reach from central Bangkok.
