United Peoples Brewery

It began as a joint venture between craft distributor Group B Beer and two respected Thai labels, and has brewed on site since May 2023; its founders were brewing illegally only a few years earlier. The house range runs to more than seventy beers, from UPB Lager to hazy and West Coast IPAs, with Sandport's Broken Sword red ale a regular guest.

No station is walkable, so take a Grab. Live bands start around 7.30pm most nights; order the fish-sauce fried pork belly. It's also a gathering point for Newcastle United fans.
