MONKEY HOUSE Craft Beer & Eatery is an open-air taproom at the street entrance of Central Festival Samui, at 209 Moo 2 on Chaweng Beach Road, and the home bar of Monkey Samui, the island's own beer brand. Monkey Samui is contract-brewed, and its small range includes a Golden Ale, a Tropical IPA, a wheat ale and pineapple and mango-passion ciders; you will also see its bottles around the island, from beach bars to convenience stores.

The house pours are joined by Thai independents such as Vana Brewing, Thai Spirit Industry and Dying Brain, and imports from Far Yeast and Heart of Darkness. The guest list moves on: check-ins in October 2026 show Underdog Micro Brewery's Non Sense and United Peoples Brewery's Rice & Salt from Bangkok on draught alongside the Monkey Samui beers. Ask for tasters before committing, and order the smallest size to sample across the board.

Handcrafted furniture keeps the open front comfortable while you watch the crowds pass between the mall and the beach road. It opens early for breakfast, so waffles or eggs and bacon can come before the beer, and there is a full food menu.
