Hops Brewhouse

Hops Brewhouse is Pattaya's original microbrewery — open since 1997 under the name Hopf and rebranded in 2017, but brewing to the same authentic German standards throughout. The copper tanks behind the bar aren't just decoration: the house wheat beer and lager are brewed fresh on the premises, available by the glass, a three-litre goblet, or a yard of ale. Alongside the house brews you'll find imported names from Hoegaarden to Paulaner filling out a solid beer menu.

The setting is large and lively, with a stage for the house band that plays nightly, a dining area that fills fast after 7pm, and a menu spanning German staples (pork knuckle, sausage platters, schnitzel) alongside pizza, seafood, and a wide range of western and Thai dishes. It's a place that works equally well for a group dinner and a long beer session — and at nearly three decades old, it genuinely earns the title of Pattaya institution.
