Chit Beer has built Thailand's most recognisable independent craft beer brand, and the Phuket Old Town taproom is their island flagship. Set right in the historic centre — surrounded by the Sino-Portuguese architecture that makes Old Town one of Asia's most distinctive urban quarters — the bar manages to feel both deeply local and entirely welcoming to visitors. The interior is warm and wood-toned with a neat tap wall behind the bar. Outside, a large leafy patio courtyard extends the space considerably — ideal for families and groups, and a rare find in the dense streetscape of Old Town. Tapping styles run the full Thai craft beer range: hop-forward IPAs and NEIPAs, hazy pale ales, wheat beers, stouts, and lighter cleaner lagers. Tasting flights are available, and the team — which often includes the owners — will offer samples before you commit. Signature Chit Beer is brewed on-site: you're drinking straight from the source. Evenings bring live music, football on large screens, and occasional outdoor movie projections in the courtyard.
