Ha Noi HomeBrew is a small taproom at 50 Lò Sũ in the Old Quarter, the original of a brand that now has several stalls around the neighbourhood. It is the kind of tightly packed, sociable format that rewards regulars more than passing tourists, pouring a rotating list of the brand's own beers.

The look is unfussy: bare brick, a backlit "Local Craft Beer" sign and a tap wall that is the whole point of the visit. One person usually pours, and most drinkers sit outside on low plastic stools on the pavement, Hanoi-style.

The signature is a rice-based lager. A 2026 review on Trvlogue notes that the beer once sold as Hanoi Memory is now called Hanoi Rice Lager, that staff describe the line-up as unchanged apart from a recipe tweak, and that the beer is brewed off-site and delivered to the stalls; the reviewer found the new version lighter than before.

Tony Vũ's Brewing is a faster-growing sister brand with its own Old Quarter outlets, recognisable by its logo on cups and signs, and some look-alike stalls nearby are separate businesses, so check the name if you are looking for this one. The same review lists opening from 1pm to midnight. It suits anyone wanting a cheap, casual beer at street level in the Old Quarter.
