Family-run Singapore craft brewery founded in 2015 by the three Goh brothers, brewing balanced, easy-drinking beers in Tuas under its rock-sign lucky cat mascot.
Rye & Pint Brewery was founded in Singapore in 2015 by three brothers. Ross Goh, the youngest, got into craft beer while studying in America and is the brewer. Luther Goh, the eldest and a former engineer, looks after the brewery's equipment, and middle brother Rufus Goh runs sales and marketing. The beer is brewed at the company's own brewery at Westview Food Factory on Tuas Bay Walk, in the far west of the island. The brewery says it aims for balance, consistency and clarity rather than extremes. Its mascot is Rice, the family's British Shorthair cat, drawn as a lucky cat making a rock sign, and it features on the bottle labels.

Earlier releases included Punchin' Rye, a rye pale ale. Seasonals and small batches rotate through the year, such as a chocolate oatmeal stout, a black rice sake ale and festive Chinese New Year brews. There have also been collaborations with Yakima Chief Hops, Engkanto, Little Creatures, Boxing Cat and Lion Brewery Co, including SingaPourAh, an IPA brewed for SG60.
Where to drink it
Rye & Pint has no taproom of its own, but you can drink it on draught at both branches of Daruma Tavern. At Daruma Tavern Punggol, a family-run bistro-bar by the Punggol Waterway, Sunday's Brew, Glowin' Flow and Lovin' Summer have been reported on its Daruma-doll taps. The original Daruma Tavern Springside at The Brooks II in Yishun also pours Sunday's Brew on draught. The beer is also sold in bottles by the six-pack and the 24-bottle carton through the brewery's online shop, with free local delivery on orders over SGD 80, and the brewery supplies other selected bars, restaurants and retailers across Singapore. If you spot it on another tap list, let us know.
