AfterJourney, the hidden taproom behind the escalators on the second floor of Textile Centre, is celebrating its first birthday. For a bar known for pouring Asian breweries that rarely turn up elsewhere in Singapore, the anniversary line-up is a fitting one: 10 breweries from China, Japan and Thailand across all 16 taps, on a free-flow deal. It is the bar's first ever party, and the team thanks its sister bars Komuniti Cats and Locality along with No.18 Brewery, Paper Plane Brewing and Watering Hole for their help.

The breweries
- China: No.18 Brewery (Wuhan), Paper Plane Brewing (Hangzhou), Zhi Le Chang (Nanjing), Feng Xiong Gongye (Guangdong) and Ye E Wei Xun (Shijiazhuang)
- Japan: Uchu, Vertere, WCB and Totopia
- Thailand: Samata
Times and tickets
- Saturday 14 November 2026, from 3pm
- S$88 free flow across the 16 taps
- The bar says its invitations have now been sent out, so check with AfterJourney on Instagram before you go if you have not had one
Getting there
- AfterJourney, #02-19 Textile Centre, 200 Jalan Sultan, Singapore 199018, behind the escalators on the second floor
- Bugis and Lavender MRT are each about ten minutes' walk; Nicoll Highway MRT is a little closer
- The next day, Sunday 15 November, sister bar Komuniti Cats holds its No.18 Brewery tap takeover and opening party at Esplanade, so it is a weekend for Chinese craft beer in town
