Farmer's Bar

Founded by craft beer enthusiasts Mok Yii Chek and Mei Ling, Farmer's Bar has grown into a beloved KL institution with multiple outlets across the Klang Valley. The Avenue K flagship, perched on level 3 of the shopping mall facing KLCC, is the most polished of the lot — a stylish, comfortable space with funky decor and toe-tapping music.

The beer selection is the star: rotating imports spanning the US, Europe, Japan, and beyond, with highlights from breweries like Deschutes, Heretic, and NBeer. Beer tasting platters and cocktails made from Malacca Rice Wine round out the drinks offering, while Chef Kiness Soo's kitchen turns out over 30 dishes drawing on Japanese, Korean, and French culinary traditions. Set lunches on weekdays make it one of KL's better value midday spots too.
