Owned by craft beer obsessive Mike and his partner Lily, House of Hops in Taman Megah is the rare bar where the owners are also the importers — giving them direct relationships with breweries like Garage Project (NZ), Verdant (UK), Vault City (UK), Collective Arts (CA), and Fuerst Wiacek (DE), among many others. The 8 rotating draft taps are complemented by an extensively stocked fridge that rotates constantly.

The vibe is warm and unhurried — a neighbourhood bar with serious beer credentials. Live bands play on Fridays, live sports screens go up on big match days, and the bar snacks (white miso butter popcorn, Shiro Hamaguri clams, jalapeño popper balls) are genuinely excellent.
