RichKat was founded in 2017 by Gavin Hemple, a homebrewer from Leicester who moved to Hong Kong in 2004, and it opened its first taproom in Shenzhen before spreading across southern China and into Hong Kong. The beer is brewed at the company's headquarters brewery in Foshan. Set beside the Sai Sha waterway in a Ma On Shan leisure complex with sports facilities and family attractions, this GO PARK unit (Shop G15, ground floor, Block C) is RichKat's most expansive Hong Kong site and its widest beer selection, across draught and can.
Nearly 20 RichKat styles are available, unfiltered and served with live yeast, and the list leans towards Chinese ingredients as much as standard styles: past beers have included a hawthorn kölsch, a lychee oolong sour, a chenpi white tea lager and a grape gose alongside hazy IPAs and a dry Irish stout. A smart self-pour system lets you fill your own glass, cans can be taken from the fridge to drink there or take home, and the beers have won at the World Beer Awards, Australian International Beer Awards and Brussels Beer Challenge.
Bring the dog: they're welcome throughout the outdoor areas. It's built for long sessions, with more than 100 seats indoors and out, live sports on a big screen, American pool tables and darts, a Chinese and Western fusion menu more substantial than the Island branches, and draught wine and cocktails for non-beer drinkers.
GO PARK lists opening from 11am daily, until 10pm from Sunday to Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday, so it works for an afternoon with the family as well as an evening session. A 2026 profile of the brand notes that most Hong Kong branches run a two-hour free-flow deal during happy hour, so ask what is on offer.
