SWIG Craft Beer Bar (Fortune Centre)

SWIG is a new craft beer bar inside Fortune Centre on Middle Road, the old-school mall between Bugis and Bencoolen that has quietly become one of Singapore's more interesting after-work drinking spots. Its pitch is simple: craft beer for everyone, good beer without any fancy rules, served in a relaxed and unpretentious setting under its cheerful crocodile mascot.

Word is that SWIG comes from the same team behind Upward Taproom on Club Street, so expect a thoughtful tap list from people who already know their way around the local and regional craft scene.

The bar sits in unit #02-25, a few floors below the building's established cluster of Japanese izakayas and beer spots, which makes it an easy addition to a Fortune Centre crawl. Bugis and Bencoolen MRT stations are both a short walk away.
