Abundance (Century Square)

Abundance's third outlet landed at Century Square, 2 Tampines Central 5, in September 2024, bringing the brand's modern Taiwanese cafe cooking to Tampines with a handful of exclusive menu items alongside the chain's signature dishes. It carries the same "Buns. Beer. Beats." ethos as its Redhill and Jalan Besar siblings, pairing Taiwanese comfort food with a rotating tap list of craft beer.

The signatures are the reason most people come: loaded gua bao, herbal braised pork rice (lu rou fan), Taiwanese beef noodles and golden chicken mee sua, all of which are built to go with a cold beer. The rotating taps change regularly, so ask what is pouring, and regular tap promotions are a fixture of the drinks side, alongside cocktails for those after something other than beer.

The Century Square space leans into a diner-chic look, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a casual mall setting rather than a dedicated beer bar, which makes it a handy option in the east for a meal with a decent craft pint, or for a beer after shopping at the Tampines malls.

Abundance lists Century Square as open daily from 11am to 10pm, with the kitchen's last order at 9.30pm. The Redhill outlet at 63A Lengkok Bahru keeps similar hours, while the Jalan Besar branch at 399 Jalan Besar stays open until 11pm. Century Square is beside Tampines MRT, so it is easy to reach from anywhere in the east.
