Hello Ren Min

Hello Ren Min is Ren Min's stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre, unit #01-144 at 51 Old Airport Road, pouring its own hawker-brewed beer a few stalls from the carrot cake and char kway teow. It is the sister stall to Welcome Ren Min at Maxwell Food Centre, the original outlet of the brewery formerly known as 3rd Culture Brewing Co., and it brings the same idea here: proper own-brewed craft beer at hawker-centre prices, with no separate bar scene required.

The red plastic hawker chair of its logo turns up everywhere, from signage to branded pint glasses, and Ren Min releases rotate with guest kegs. Check what's actually on before ordering. Then grab a plate from a neighbouring stall, pull up a stool and treat it as a proper hawker beer stop rather than a novelty.

Beer Asia lists opening hours of 5.30pm to 10.30pm from Tuesday to Friday and noon to 10.30pm on Saturdays; it is closed on Sundays and Mondays, when the Maxwell stall is the alternative. The food centre is a short walk from Dakota MRT station.
