Heart of Darkness Brewery

Founded by John Pemberton and friends and named after the Joseph Conrad novella, Heart of Darkness brews adventurous, intensely flavoured beers that have medalled across the Pacific Rim. Kurtz's Insane IPA uses seven hops for a 7.1%, 102 IBU hit of grapefruit and citrus; Dream Alone Mosaic Pale Ale, Loose Rivet NEIPA and Directors Cacao Porter join a stream of seasonals, with 10 core beers always on.

Choose between the large shaded patio and the air-conditioned bar, and check for the regular live music and comedy nights. The beers also travel to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
