MixTape Drinks arrived on the Saigon craft beer scene with a clear personality: the intersection of music and brewing, expressed through award-winning beers with names like Peaches and Cream NEIPA, California Sun Juicy Pale, and Molly Nitro Milk Stout. The taproom at 40 ΔαΊ·ng Thα» Nhu in District 1 β a short walk from BαΊΏn ThΓ nh Market β has become one of the most characterful independent craft beer venues in the city.
Owner Chad, who built MixTape from a genuine passion for both brewing and independent music, maintains 16-plus rotating taps: a mix of MixTape house beers alongside guest taps from top Saigon and Vietnam breweries including Overmorrow, Turtle Lake, 7 Bridges and East West. The rotating tap list keeps things interesting, and the occasional experimental collaboration β like the MixTape Taro, a sour with tamarind and chilli brewed with Great State Aleworks from Pune β signals a brewpub that's thinking beyond the obvious. Alongside the beers, MixTape also produces ParTea hard teas (lotus green, raspberry) that have developed their own following among the city's non-hops crowd.
The venue has an upstairs open-air balcony, a kitchen producing proper food (meatball parm sandwiches, wings, fries), and an atmosphere that leans casual and community-driven with regular DJ nights and live music. This is craft beer for people who also care about what's playing on the speakers.
