Pasteur Street Brewing Company pioneered Vietnam's craft beer scene when it served its first beer in January 2015 from a small taproom up an alley off Pasteur Street in District 1. The concept: American craft brewing methodology applied to fresh Vietnamese ingredients — jasmine flowers, passion fruit, lemongrass, black pepper, Marou cacao — producing beers that taste like nowhere else. The results are award-winning. The Jasmine IPA has become one of the most recognisable craft beers in Southeast Asia, and the Cyclo Imperial Chocolate Stout made with Marou cacao was a gold medallist at the Asian Beer Medals. The brewery has expanded to 15+ taprooms across Vietnam, but the original taproom at 144 Pasteur Street remains the place to try the full range in its freshest form. The taproom is accessed via an alleyway off Pasteur Street; a rooftop bar is also available in the same complex. Happy hour runs 4:30–7pm daily. **Opening Hours** Daily: 11am – midnight
