Singapore's longest-running craft brewery, pouring house-brewed beer on the Singapore River since 1997 and now brewing at its own production brewery in Kampong Ampat.
Brewerkz opened in 1997 on the Singapore River, set up by a group of American partners, and it calls itself the country's longest-running craft brewery. It is now owned by brothers Tan Wee Tuck, Tan Wee Han and Tan Wee Lee through The Brewerkz Group, which also owns Crystal Wines and runs restaurants including Jiak Kim House. The beer is made at the company's own standalone brewery in Kampong Ampat, on a 25-hectolitre Newlands brewhouse with its own canning line. At the Asia Beer Championship, Brewerkz was named Champion Mid-size Brewery of Asia in 2022 and 2023, and Country Champion Brewery for Singapore in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
